What makes Natural Venom so successful? We employ exceptional coaches that are dedicated to placing athletes at the right level. Our coaches challenge our athletes by giving them new skills appropriate for their skill level and help them reach what they never thought possible to become national and international champions. 



Owner & Coach

Valerie has worked to provide a long legacy of cheerleading and coaching here in the Puget Sound. She has been coaching all-star and high school cheer for over 15 years and has been a Natural Venom coach for 9 years. Valerie has worked very hard to bring Natural Venom to the many succesful seasons that they have seen so far, not only as a coach but as a gym owner as well. Varsity High School Captain, All Star Cheer Captain, WSU Cheerleader 2003-2004, Power Athletics Summer Staff Camp, Stadium High School Head Coach 2007-2012.

What Valerie loves most about coaching is...

Seeing the athletes progress and seeing the look on their faces when they get a new skill. Coaching is fulfilling in so many aspects...being able to be a positive influence and provide a place for cheerleaders to come and be a part of a team is so rewarding.



Gym Director and Head Coach

Tony has been coaching for Natural Venom as the Head Coach for over 10 years. His experience includes 25 years of tumbling, 10 years of cheerleading as an athlete where Tony has competed at The World Championships several times. Tony has also workied for Pure Energy Choreography  and for All Things Cheer as a head choreographer


USASF Creditialed to level 5, Worlds Finalist in 2008, 2011-2013, Assistant Coach Award for International Champion Jr Coed Senior Level 3


What Tony loves the most about coaching is...

Watching his athletes succeed. Nothing else is more important to Tony than working hard with his teams and seeing their efforts result in success. 



Serena has been a competitive cheerleading coach for over 10 years.  Serena began dancing at age five and although her background is in choreography and dancing, she has widened her scope to include cheerleading, She brings a great understanding of teamwork and choreography that is priceless. 


What Serena loves most about coaching is...

watching athletes grow in their confidence by seeing them through the tough stuff. Serena's favorite part of competition season is watching that confidence explode on the floor into a performance of true champions.


All Star Director and Head Coach

Tawni originally started coaching at Natural Venom 9 years ago. She has since coached in Texas and most recently Illinois. She has coached teams to win many national championships and most recently won NCA Dallas last year and came in 4th at the Summit.
